Software Engineer – III (ASP.NET C# + JavaScript)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development:
  Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework (2.0 or later), ASP.NET (C#), and related technologies.
• Database Management:
  Design, optimize, and query SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MySQL databases. Ensure strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Entity Framework:
  Implement data access layers using Entity Framework, including LINQ queries, migrations, and ORM best practices.
• Frontend Development:
  Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces and ensure seamless integration with backend APIs.
• Code Quality & Documentation:
  Follow coding standards, write clean, maintainable code, and maintain proper documentation for all developed modules.
• Maintenance & Support:
  Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing applications. Support deployment activities and application monitoring.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with team members, project managers, and QA engineers to meet project goals and timelines.
• Continuous Learning:
  Stay updated with the latest Microsoft technologies, frameworks, and best practices to improve code efficiency and performance.

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–10 years of experience in web application development using .NET Framework and ASP.NET (C#).
• Strong understanding of RDBMS and hands-on experience with SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MySQL.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript for front-end development.
• Experience in ongoing project development or application maintenance.
• Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN, etc.).
• Ability to analyse requirements, design solutions, and deliver within deadlines.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
